The following are the terms and conditions for entry into the competition.
- The promoter of this competition is Midland Karting Limited.
- This competition is in no way associated with, affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn or any social media platform upon which promoting the competition takes place.
- Entry is by liking and commenting on the dedicated Facebook post. Sharing of the post is not required.
- The competition opens at 20:00 on 8th December 2021 and closes at 23:59 on 31st December 2021.
- There will be ONE winner declared.
- The winner will be drawn on 4th January 2022.
- The winner will be chosen at random from all of those entries fulfilling the entry criteria.
- The winner will be announced on all of the promoter’s social media channels, and on this page, after the draw date.
- The promoter reserves the right to re-draw a winner if the winner does not claim their prize before 11:00 on 30th January 2022.
- There is no purchase necessary for entry into this competition.
- Entry is open to residents of England, Wales and Scotland aged 18 years and over, with an active and valid Facebook account. This competition is not open to residents of Northern Ireland due to the competition laws in place there.
- If the promoter suspects the winner to be under the age of 18 years, proof of age may be requested before the prize can be claimed.
- The prize is ONE karting event for up to four persons (aged 8 years and over) to take place at Midland Karting, Wood End Lane, Fradley Park, Lichfield, WS13 8NF before 31st December 2022. The event will consist of 30 minutes of track time, on the appropriate circuit using the appropriate karts based on the age of those participating in the event. Balaclavas and other safety equipment are included in the prize. Refreshments are not included in the price, but can be purchased separately.
- The promoter is not liable for transportation costs to the venue, sustenance or any other out-of-pocket expenses incurred by the winner.
- The promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative date for the prize event due to weather, Covid-19 restrictions or other force majeure events arise. Similarly, a prize of equivalent value may be offered where such circumstances may arise, at the sole discretion of the promoter.
- There will be no cash alternative.
- The promoter reserves the right to change or withdraw the giveaway and/or prize at any time.
- The decision of the promoter will be final and no correspondence shall be entered into where a dispute may arise.
Please be scam aware. The promoter will not, under any circumstances, contact you to advise that you’re the winner and request credit/debit card details or other personal information. If you’re unsure as to the validity of any message received claiming you to be the winner, please check back on this page to confirm the announcement.
