We’d like to think that our website provides you with all the information and details you need for planning and visiting us. We understand though that, sometimes, a bit more information might be needed.

This page is our dedicated “Frequently Asked Questions” page – literally, a one-stop page of all the questions we get asked on a regular basis.

Q: How do I make a booking?
A: You can make a booking by:

  • calling 01543 418419 and speaking with one of the sales team
  • emailing your requirements to sales@midlandkarting.co.uk
  • booking through our online booking portal, available 24 hours a day.

All bookings should be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Q: What is the minimum age for drivers?
A: We have a multitude of activities available for adult drivers, younger drivers (from 8+), and we’re also able to provide sessions in some circumstances for people aged 7 and above. Get in touch with our team, and we’ll advise on the best activities for your youngster.

Q: Are there any restrictions to my event time?
A: Our operating license permits racing from 8am until midnight, seven days a week.

All events must be booked in advance and confirmed, to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing levels are maintained throughout the event.

We do not offer “arrive-and-drive” sessions.

Q: What does my booking cost include?
A: Your booking cost includes insurance cover, track time, hire of protective equipment (except balaclava) and go-kart hire.

Unless explicitly stated, it does not cover the cost of refreshments or extras. Please discuss this with a member of the sales team.

Q: Can I bring my own go-kart?
A: At present, due to circuit insurance limitations, we do not allow racers to bring their own go-karts to our circuit.

Racers are permitted to bring their own protective equipment (e.g. helmet, gloves, boots, suits etc) to events and sessions.

Q: Can I bring my own food to the venue?

A: We currently do not allow for customers to bring their own food to the venue. We can facilitate in this area and provide catering options, but catering must be organised and pre-booked ahead of arrival. We also have vending machines on site which provide immediate access to snacks and beverages.
