Please read the following terms and conditions thoroughly before finalising your booking with us.

It is the sole responsibility of the person making this booking to communicate these Terms and Conditions to all other participants.

Change of participant numbers

Midland Karting Ltd understands driver numbers may change from the time of booking. When increasing participant numbers, inform us as soon as possible, whilst we cannot guarantee spaces available, we will try to accommodate this change.

Change of date or time

Once a booking has been made and deposit paid any changes requested will be entirely at the discretion of Midland Karting Ltd. If you have taken out flexi insurance then we are able to reschedule a booking inline with the terms of the insurance.

Late arrival

Drivers must arrive at the given start time as events cannot be extended.

Refunds/Cancellations

Once Midland Karting Ltd has received payment of a deposit and final balance, all monies including pre-paid vouchers are non-refundable. Should the party reduce in numbers following payment of the deposit, the deposit will be forfeited for those members of the party not attending. If a block booking is made of private lessons or the championship rounds and you fail to complete every session a refund will not be issued for missed or unused sessions.

Should the party number fall to less than the minimum group size for that event, for example a Grand Prix, Midland Karting Ltd reserve the right to offer a substitute event. If the party or any participant decides not to partake in any part of the activities or events for any reason on the day, Midland Karting Ltd will give no refund.

Midland Karting Ltd may cancel any activity or event, for example if technical difficulties/ (severe weather conditions) make an event unsafe. Midland Karting Ltd reserves the right to discontinue an activity at its own discretion and should a suitable alternative be unavailable the customer shall be entitled to a full refund. Any refunds will be payable to the person who made the booking and in the event of a credit card payment, will be refunded directly to the credit card used to purchase the event. The customer shall not receive a refund if the event does not take place because of national war, prohibitive government regulation or anything else beyond the reasonable control of Midland Karting Ltd.

Pricing

The price stated is in pounds sterling and subject to VAT unless specified otherwise. We reserve the right to change the price of activities prior to receipt of your deposit. Price increases will not be added to any confirmed bookings or prepaid vouchers.

Adverse Weather Conditions

Our activities are offered subject to availability and weather conditions. We can operate under most weather conditions. Extreme weather conditions however may render an event unsafe for participants or staff members. If an activity has to be postponed due to weather or safety reasons, the activity will be rescheduled on a mutually convenient date. Midland Karting Ltd do not accept any responsibility for any inconvenience or expenses incurred as a result of this occurrence nor the inability of the participants to travel to our venue on the agreed date & time.

Activities/Events

Every effort has been made to describe the activities accurately on our website and literature. However some changes may occur from time to time. All times listed are approximate and may vary. In addition to the time allocated for your activity or event on the track (prices are based on allocated track-time) additional time on site will be needed for registration, the compulsory video safety briefing and changing into and out of safety wear – customers should therefore plan accordingly.

In the event of a mechanical breakdown we will make every effort to repair the equipment as quickly as possible. Customers must be aware that there may be occasions where repairs may not be resolvable on the day but every effort will be made to offer alternative equipment within the activity, however due to the nature of motorsport this cannot always be guaranteed. Equipment damaged by participants actions, even if done accidentally, will not be replaced. For safety reasons, this will normally result in the curtailment of the event for that participant. Appropriate action shall be taken if it is believed by Midland Karting Ltd Management that damage was done maliciously.

Restrictions

All activities are provided subject to any restrictions stated on the website or via other information provided, for example the driver’s health condition, age or size. A failure to comply with such a restriction will prevent the participant from undertaking the activity and in such circumstances Midland Karting Ltd is under no duty to provide an alternative activity or a refund.
