In accordance with Government guidance, we have made some important changes to help minimise the risk and impact of the Coronavirus "CoVID-19".

One-to-One Tuition

Our 1 to 1 Karting lessons are ideal to give your budding F1 driver the chance to learn how to drive a kart better.

From basic driving tips for beginners to advanced racing tips for the more experienced driver, our Karting instructors are on hand. Sessions available on Saturday and Sunday only between 9am and 11am or 5pm onwards. Mid-week sessions available until 5pm.

SINGLE SESSIONS
At £35 for a 30 minute lesson or £45 for 45 minutes, it is perfect value, and gives your child a better start to becoming a more competent driver.

ONE TO ONE PACKAGES
For those looking for a longer term set of goals and a continued tuition process then you can book several sessions for one price of £150 for 5×30minute sessions or £200 for 5×45 minute sessions. Lessons will be split with 2 on the National circuit and 3 on the International circuit. All 5 dates need to pre-booked with weekend availability limited but usually run at 9am or 10am.

Once you have completed your 5 one to one lessons you will be required to take part in a basic kart driving assessment. Upon passing, you will receive a 12 month Midland Karting driving licence/membership. (If part of package paid in full this will be free otherwise £25 for a test/driving licence for 12 months this includes kart hire, instructor and licence).

Please be aware that all sessions need to be pre-booked, and all drivers must be aged 8-years or over. For further information please contact us.

MEET THE INSTRUCTORS

GARRY
Garry started in karting as a mechanic in 1994, whilst racing in various open events at tracks around the country. He then took on the role of managing the kart track whilst learning and then teaching young drivers to drive to a high standard. Garry is available for tuition all weekend. 

ASH
Ash is one of our youngest 1-to-1 instructors but has had a lot of experience working with children during parties and 1-to-1 sessions.
He is very good at helping shy or nervous children get used to the karts and build up their confidence.
He has worked here since early 2014 and has competed in numerous open ironman races. Ash is only available for tuition on Saturday’s.

ETHAN
Ethan has been working at Midland Karting for over 3 year’s. As a Race Director, Ethan knows everything to help you become the next Midland Karting champion. Ethan is only available for tuition on Sunday’s.

SAJ
For a number of years Saj has raced in many open races around the country as well as race directing at Various Tracks. Saj is available for tuition all weekend.

*Price does not include the cost of a balaclava, which can be purchased on the day or in advance.

^The minimum height is a guideline. In the interest of safety, the race manager will make the final decision on which karts can be used for your event based on driver heights.

We request all events are booked at least 24-hours in advance. We do not typically offer “arrive-and-drive” sessions, so please contact the circuit by telephone if you wish to visit today.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee circuit availability without a booking.

You can check circuit availability at any time by visiting our online booking portal, available and up-to-date 24-hours a day.

Karting is an all-weather sport and we rarely face conditions requiring us to cancel events. We will always keep our social media channels updated in times of poor weather. Please contact us if you are concerned.

All safety equipment is provided free of charge – this includes race suit, helmet and gloves. A small fee is required for paper balaclavas, or a reusable option can be purchased.

You are advised to wear clothing appropriate to the weather conditions, along with sturdy closed-toe footwear. We do not permit high-heels or sandals/flip flops.
